I find her accent to be clear and easier to understand that from many other Spanish speaking countries. I first studied with Jeani last summer, when I came to Quito on a study program for bilingual speech language pathologists. Together with two other women, I spent 4 afternoons per week in Jeani’s little office talking about everything and anything of interest – and the time just flew by! Mrs. Monica continues to do an excellent job with 16 year old son Sajjad. He started working with her last fall. We live in the Washington, DC area and encounter Spanish language speakers everyday. When we are out and about and my son hears our neighbors and other people speaking Spanish, he can often understand parts of what they are saying. The first time this happened he was quite excited.
